The use of gas as a fuel, compared to petrol or diesel, allows for a cleaner source of energy with significant reductions in the levels of emissions such as CO2, Nitrogen Oxide, Carbon Monoxide, Hydrocarbons and particulates. In addition to the environmental benefits there are also financial savings when using gas; it is cheaper to run per kW hour and burns much more efficiently, which preserves engine parts.
